Conference!!

This is conference is April. The new forever lasting memory card has really gotten me behind! We loved it. It was enlightening and delicious! Every conference we gather at big mama's and Daddy's for conference treats. Bobb maybe had too much!

My Girls!!

Avaree:"Lucy wants to be me! She does every thing I do!" I had to agree. She loves her big sister. I love both my girls and how much they are alike and how they are different. I pulled out my 2T clothes for Lucy and had to laugh. The majority of the clothes were wool tights, cardigans, and tutus! Lucy got some new clothes, but she wears a tutu 2 out of 7 days a week.

For Sara and Gena

Avaree did this on her own. It was cracking me up!! Lucy did want a turn, but was not in tears! A good idea is always a good idea despite the generation.

Spirit Fingers!

I was asked to help welcome the graduates into relief society at the Senior Recognition night. Mine growing up was a little formal, i.e. golden green ball. lol I came formal, but it was anything but formal. So informal, in fact, the chairs were put away while people were getting their refreshments so everyone had to leave to eat or stand. I had my little 2 minute speech prepared just knowing it wouldn't fit the environment, so I improvised! And what came to my mind first? Oh, you know it Spirit Fingers!! So my turn comes, I present the audience with my enthusiasum of sharing my R.S. pride with them, that it makes me so excited I have to get out my spirit fingers. I tell them how we are the world's largest women's organization, our creed is to save souls and take care of the needy, our motto is charity never faileth, and that we change the world. Inserted with oh, yeah Spirit Fingers between each statement. I started so I had to own it! I also talked about how much we needed them in R.S., it is where they belong, and visiting teaching. But of course it had to end with Spirit Fingers! Well, at least I kept their attention. he he. And I am proud to say Lucy now does spirit fingers!

Atticus is my ever protector!

We were at church and I was having tears escape as usual when a good lesson is taught. A gentleman was teasing me and called me a cry baby. When we got home Atticus raised his fist and said, "If any one says that to my honey. I will tell them she is just feeling the spirit!" In a very much 'leave her alone' tone of voice. I love him. I really am his number one fan!

I love to ride my bicycle! I love to ride my bike! -Queen

I couldn't help but post these pictures. They are my favorite. We go for a bike ride, just about, everyday. And yes, Atticus usually wears his mask. I know I should be concerned about vision impairment, but I just love it too much. We stick to the back roads. He is convinced when he has his mask on no one knows who he is. I don't know if he doesn't want to be seen with us or he has seen to many Zorro movies. But I love it. Avaree has her make sift basket that she loves to fill with other bags. I love this too. Because if you have one bag, you definitely are in need of another!

Time Out!

Discipline has begun! And she is so proud of herself! Atticus and Avaree hit each other, so they went to time out. Lucy hit Avaree so she could go in time out like the big kids! She did a happy dance as I lectured her. She said sorry to Avaree, but refused to come out of time out. It was just too awesome!! She happily stayed there for 5 minutes, giving little cheers just to let everyone know she was in time out! It was her coming of age! Here's to next time. :)

My wonderful girl!

Avaree is great! aside from having a head slightly smaller than a ostrich heart, she is my girl. We all know I am a sap! Every family home evening or anytime I am telling them something I really value, I get a little teary. Avaree has started pretending to cry when ever she talks about scriptures or something that she did that she knew was a good choice. Sometimes it is like looking is a mirror!

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa!

Thank you for a wonderful trip! We loved the Dino museum like always, but most of all your company! It is always so fun to get away to you!

Book Sharks Bite Again!

This Book Club was our turn. We did it under the theme of art books! We painted, We relayed, We danced to my favorite kids music, the bare naked ladies songs eraser and draw. We saw some great moves! We drew, We laughed! Thanks for coming everyone. All these books are some of my favorites, especially, 'the night the scary beasties popped out of my head.' Hope everyone had a great time!

Yesterday at breakfast Atticus sat down in a way that I knew he needed to discuss something with me. He said, "Mom, you can call me Atty, Atticus, son, or stud, but please don't call me sweety, sugar, honey, lover, or anything like that any more." My son is turning into a man.

What?

This is not a hat? Lucy puts everything on. I love it. My favorite is when she tries to put on socks.

"Great Party Maclin! Where's the Whisky?"

Fairy Tea Party!

We loved our fairy tea party! We went with our good friends Jamie and Nya. We met the fairy court, watched ballerinas, had delicious refreshments (Avaree ate mine), walked the cat walk, and danced ourselves! The best part for me was just getting ready! I love Avaree's style!

Dressing up!

Atticus is wearing Dad's pants. Lucy is wearing Dad's hat. Because that is always funny. It is good to say Atticus and Avaree are not wearing dad's underwear, but oh! the fun we had with the gigantic underwear!! Pee-Wee Herman was right, Its uses are endless!

Our Sweet Heart

A neighbor gave us a Halloween outfit for Lucy, but her big sister loved it way too much! She spends most her days being our puppy. She is well behaved, good with kids, and house trained!

AHHHH! We have a mouse!

Lucy got into the frig, found the cheese, some how got it out of the bag, and nibbled at the big block of cheese with her two little teeth. She was in heaven!
